1. Promotion Period. The Promotion Period for the Drive Rewards Program begins August 16, 2009 12:01 AM Mountain Daylight Time and ends November 14, 2009, 11:59 Mountain Standard Time.
2. No Purchase Necessary. No purchase or payment of any money is necessary to enter the Drive Rewards Program
3. Eligibility. Authorized representatives of the owners of independent and regional customers or potential customers (whether individuals or companies) of VISTAR ("Sponsor") residing in the United States are eligible to enter. Customers or potential customers who are individuals must be at least 18 years of age at time of entry to be eligible. Prize Program void where prohibited or restricted by law. All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply. Employees of Sponsor and its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, and advertising and promotional agencies and members of the immediate families or households of such employees are not eligible to enter or win.
4. How to Enter. There are two ways to enter the Promotion: (1) the authorized representative of a customer or potential customer may complete the registration form by entering on-line at www.VISTAR.com, clicking on the Vistar logo, then click on the Drive logo, then select the link to Registration Form and fill out; or (2) fill out a faxable sign-up form that you may get from your Vistar representative or by calling 1-800-880-9900. One entry per customer or new customer (customers will be signed up by individual ship to location number, those with multiple locations will be signed up individually). A valid shipping address must accompany all registration submissions.
5. Selection of Winners: Participants will earn points on purchases of eligible products (as set forth in the promotional materials) during the Promotion Period. Participants will earn 4 points for every 10 dollars purchased of Quad suppliers, 3 points for every 10 dollars purchased on Triple suppliers, 2 points for every 10 dollars purchased on Double suppliers and 1 point for every 10 dollars purchased on Single suppliers during the Promotion Period. Points earned during the Promotion Period are valid for this promotion only, and may not be used in connection with any other promotions. All unredeemed points will be forfeited at the conclusion of the redemption period (January 31, 2010). A prior 30-day account history review will be performed on each customer's account prior to prize redemption. If an account falls outside of their assigned credit terms, no rewards will be sent.
6. Judges' Decisions Final. The decisions of the Prize Program judges on all matters relating to the Prize Program are final and may not be challenged, including, without limitation, matters relating to the eligibility of entries, the selection of entrants and winners, and the awarding of prizes. ALL PRIZES AWARDED HEREUNDER ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND FROM SPONSOR, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, ORAL OR WRITTEN, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
7. Claiming Prizes. Points will be earned and then uploaded to participants web account monthly. Points earned can be redeemed for prizes at the end of the program, November 14, by entering www.vistar.com and clicking on the Vistar logo, then the Drive logo, then the "Rewards" link. Winners should allow at least four to six weeks for delivery of all prizes. Prior to redemption of prizes being allowed , a 30-day account history review will be performed. If account is not current according to terms, the participant will need to wait until the next quarter to try to redeem prizes again. If you do not have Internet access to redeem notes you have qualified for, simply call 800-880-9900 and ask to speak to the Marketing department, and a catalog of prizes and form will be sent to you through the mail. Redemptions of accumulated DRIVE points must take place by January 31, 2010.
8. Sponsor. Prize Programs are sponsored by VISTAR
9. Purchases made by participant before Sponsor receives participant's registration will not count towards the Program point total. Products returned by participant will be deducted from participant's total purchases effective as of the date such product was originally purchased. Purchases made by participant are exclusive to participant's account, and may not be transferred to, or combined with, the account of another participant. By participating and redeeming a prize, participant releases and agrees to hold harmless Sponsor and its affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotional agencies and prize suppliers from and against any and all liability, including but not limited to any and all liability for injury, loss or damages to persons (including death) and property, with respect to, or arising out of, participation in this promotion or in any activity related to this promotion, or any prize or the use or misuse of any prize. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel and revoke this promotion due to printing errors or other mistakes in Sponsor's sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate this promotion, in whole or in part, or to modify this promotion in any way, without notice and at any time, in the event any factor interferes with its proper conduct as contemplated by these Official Rules and Guidelines.
